I paid to have an equipment violation defended. I am a CDL holder. This office took my money and made a "deal" for me to pay the full amount of the citation. He knew I had a CDL when he took my money. I wanted my day in court. When I called his office to explain this....I was not only not allowed to speak to my attorney, they hung up on me. I should note that the his fees were over half the cost of the violation. If i wanted to plea guilty I could have done so by mail without an attorney.
